Property Styling Terms & Conditions
Installation
Cancellations within 24 hours of the confirmed installation date will incur a fee of 20% of the installation fee.
Access
Clear access must be provided on the day of installation. Failure to have clear access, resulting in the installation being rescheduled, will incur a fee of $500. No guarantee can be given that if a reschedule occurs due to failure to have clear access, the installation will be the following day.
Photography
We request that installation be done a day before photos are taken or no earlier than 3.30 pm on the day. We cannot guarantee that the job will be completed before this time.
Products
The initial term of the hiring agreement is five weeks (“Initial Term”)
Hiring fees for the initial term include the full set up of furniture and the removal of hired furniture to and from the property (“Initial Hiring Fee”). The initial Hiring Fee is payable in full before the installation date, and funds are accounted for. Failure to pay will result in the installation not going ahead
Unless the Hirer notifies the Owner before the end of the Initial Term in writing, the hiring agreement continues on a weekly basis (“Extended-term”) as the quoted weekly rate (“Extended Term Hiring Fee”)
Extended Term Hiring Fee must be paid at the end of the extension. If the extension period is longer than a month, the Extended Term Hiring Fees must be paid monthly. The hiring agreement can be terminated any day of the week after the Initial Term of 5 weeks by the Hirer giving the Owner written notice.
Termination of the hiring agreement does not affect the Hirer’s financial obligations under the agreement. No refunds will be made to the Hirer of the Initial Hiring Fee or extended Term Hiring Fee.
Without the Owner’s written consent, the Hirer must not remove the goods from the Premises. The Hirer must not do without the Owner’s prior written consent:
A) Agree, attempt offer or purport to sell, assign, sublet, lend, pledge, mortgage, let on hire or otherwise part with or attempt to part with the personal possession of or otherwise deal with the goods: or
B) Conceal or alter the goods or make any addition to the goods.
To the full extent permitted by law, the Hirer releases, discharges and indemnifies the Owner from all claims and demands on the Owner arising out of or consequent upon the use or misuse of the Goods during the term.
The Hirer agrees that the Owner may use appropriate metal picture hooks and mirrors to hang artwork. Please note that we do not use self-adhesive hooks due to their unreliability.
Damage / Theft
BDA takes responsibility for furniture and accessories for the rental period. The owner(s) / real estate agent is responsible for ensuring the property is always secure and, where possible, alarms are activated. We request to be contacted within 12 hours of any theft or damage to the styled property.
Hanging of artwork & mirrors
The Hirer agrees the Owner may use appropriate metal picture hooks to hang artwork and mirrors as per “Terms and Conditions”. Please note that we do not use self-adhesive hooks due to their unreliability.
Furniture Removal
A minimum of 48 hours is required to remove furniture. Hirer or agent to advise when goods are ready to be collected so rental will cease to accrue as per “Terms and Conditions”. Please info@bdainteriors.com.au to arrange removal.
Furniture Hire Extension
If goods are required after the initial 5-week period, the rental agreement will continue every week at $640 unless otherwise agreed with the Agent.
